New Mini-Grant Program for Troy & Lansingburgh Residents

New Mini-Grant Program for Troy & Lansingburgh Residents

Residents of Troy and Lansingburgh who want to make their neighborhoods a better place to live and work can apply for funding through a new initiative: the “What If . . .” mini-grant program. These grants are intended to increase neighborhood involvement by residents, build neighborhood pride and confidence, create partnerships between residents, businesses, and local government, AND help residents think about the long-term goals for their community.

Residents interested in applying for funding should call Leslie Cheu at 518-720-0006 to discuss their ideas. If the idea is a good fit with the goals for the program, applicants will be invited to attend a Community Information Meeting to learn more about how to apply. Meetings are currently scheduled for Tuesday, September 26th @ 6 pm and Thursday, October 5th @ 6 m. Applicants need only attend ONE Community Information Meeting (not both).

Decisions on funding of the mini-grant program will be made by a committee composed of residents of Troy and Lansingburgh.  Please call Leslie Cheu today @ 518-720-0006 to discuss your idea!
